I have a great passion for teaching and training and am happy to provide supervision, consultation and mentorship no matter your level of training. During my career with the Veterans Affairs hospitals in Long Beach and San Diego, California, I supervised practicum students, interns, and postdoctoral fellows rotating through the primary care, women's mental health, perinatal mental health, behavioral medicine, and tobacco cessation clinics. I also led a weekly supervision of supervision seminar consisting of both didactic and experiential learning experiences, and have relatedly led numerous seminars over the years across my areas of expertise. My conceptualization of cases is best described as integrative, being influenced primarily by cognitive, attachment-based, and contextual-behavioral approaches.
